JUNE 2026 QUARTERLY ACTIVITIES REPORT
Transformational quarter delivers flagship high-grade Nielle Gold Project in Côte d’Ivoire,
accelerates exploration through receipt of a US$3M+ historical exploration dataset and
expands the Company’s strategic Western Australia gold footprint.
HIGHLIGHTS
▪ Transformationalacquisition of the rights to earna 90% interest inthe high-grade Nielle Gold Project
in northern Côte d’Ivoire, a large scale ~212km² permit application located ~50km north of the 5Moz
Tongan Gold Mine within the highly prospective Senoufo Greenstone Belt, establishing Nielle as the
Company’s flagship gold project.
▪ Receipt of the complete historical exploration dataset received for Nielle representing more than
US$3 million of previous exploration expenditure, comprising 40 RC drill holes (4,420m), ~7,000m of
air core drilling, 542 auger drill holes, geological mapping, geochemical sampling, technical studies and
retained drill samples, significantly accelerating drill target generation ahead of permit grant.
▪ Appointment of highly experienced geologist George Michaelides as Exploration Manager, bringing
direct firsthand operational knowledge of the Nielle Project together with more than 25 years’ exploration
experience across Côte d'Ivoire, Mali and Senegal.
▪ Completion of the Meekasan acquisition, consolidating Castle’s contiguous ~184km² strategic
landholding at the Meeka South Gold Project in the prolific Meekatharra gold district of Western Australia
and substantially expanding the Company's pipeline of priority exploration opportunities.
▪ Portfolio optimisation advancing through execution of indicative non-binding terms sheet for the
proposed divestment of Castle’s Ghanaian gold assets for consideration of US$400,000, enabling
greater strategic focus on Côte d'Ivoire and Western Australia.
▪ Proposed name change to TerraNova Metals Limited to reflect the Company’s strategic geographic
focus and refreshed corporate direction (subject to shareholder approval).
▪ Strong cash position of A$1.616 million at 30 June 2026, providing funding to advance priority
exploration and corporate initiatives.
Steve Zaninovich, Managing Director of Castle, commented:
“The June quarter marked a defining period in Castle's evolution. The acquisition of the high-grade
Nielle Gold Project has repositioned the Company around a genuinely compelling flagship gold asset
in one of West Africa's premier gold belts, while the subsequent receipt of the complete historical
exploration dataset has significantly accelerated our pathway towards drill testing.
With more than US$3 million of historical exploration now in hand, our technical team is rapidly
advancing geological interpretation and drill target generation. The appointment of George
Michaelides, who possesses direct operational knowledge of the project, further strengthens our
ability to efficiently transition from acquisition to active exploration.
Castle Minerals Limited (ASX: CDT) (“Castle” or “the Company”) is pleased to provide an update on its
activities for the quarter ending 30 June 2026.
CÔTE D’IVOIRE PROJECTS
Nielle Gold Project, Transformational Acquisition
On 19 May 2026, Castle announced that, following a competitive bid process, it had executed a binding terms
sheet to acquire a 90% interest in the high-grade Nielle Gold Project (“Nielle”) from private Ivorian company
Golden Arrow SARL (“Vendor”). Nielle encompasses ~212km² of highly prospective tenure under application
in northern Côte d’Ivoire which, combined with Castle’s existing ~1,842km² of tenements and tenement
applications, provides significant exploration upside and scale potential within Côte d’Ivoire.
Nielle is located in Birimian terrane in the Senoufo greenstone belt, a globally significant geological province
that hosts many of West Africa’s major orogenic gold deposits, including the proximal operating gold mines at
Tongon (5.0Moz), Sissingué (1.5Moz), Wahgnion (3.2Moz) and Syama (11.5Moz) (Figure 1). The nearby Tongon
Gold Mine, located ~50km to the south of Nielle, has been in continuous operation since 2010 and produced
an average of ~250,000 ounces of gold per annum over its first decade at a head grade of 2.20 g/t Au. Previously
owned and operated by Barrick, Tongon was acquired by the Atlantic Group in 2025 for US$305 million,
underscoring the strategic value of established gold assets within the region.
A compelling high-grade gold system has already been defined at Nielle, with numerous shallow, high-grade
intercepts delivered across more than 1km of drilled strike within a broader 4.5km mineralisation corridor,
which remains open along strike and at depth. Gold mineralised intersections are associated with strong
alteration, sulphide mineralisation and quartz-carbonate veining, consistent with a structurally controlled
orogenic gold system.
Importantly, the combination of shallow, contiguous high-grade mineralisation and limited historical drilling
relative to the overall scale of the system highlights the opportunity to expand known mineralisation through
systematic follow-up exploration to support the potential for future Mineral Resource estimation. Significant
exploration upside remains, with limited historical drilling relative to the scale of the system and clear scope
to extend mineralisation across the full 4.5km corridor. Please refer to Castle’s ASX announcement of 19 May
2026 which details the outstanding historical drilling highlights as depicted in Figure 3 below.
Steve Zaninovich, Managing Director of Castle, continued:
In Western Australia, completion of the Meekasan acquisition has created a substantial consolidated
landholding across the Meeka South Gold Project, providing exposure to numerous priority exploration
targets within one of Australia's most productive gold districts.
At the corporate level, we continued to streamline the portfolio through the proposed divestment of
our Ghanaian gold assets and announced our intention to rebrand as TerraNova Metals.
Together, these initiatives position the Company with a clearer strategic focus, an expanded portfolio
of high quality gold assets and multiple near term value catalysts as we enter the second half of 2026.”

Nielle Key Acquisition Terms
Castle (through its wholly owned subsidiary) paid a non-refundable option fee of US$50,000 to the Vendor to
secure an exclusive four month option to acquire a 90% interest in the Nielle (permit under application). The
binding terms sheet is subject to customary conditions precedent including completion of due diligence to
Castle’s satisfaction, regulatory and third-party approvals, and the granting of a research permit over the
Nielle application. Subject to satisfaction (or waiver) of these conditions, consideration payable to the Vendor
comprises:
▪ US$500,000 in cash and Castle shares to the value of US$500,000 (“Upfront Consideration”);
▪ US$600,000 in cash and Castle shares to the value of US$600,000, twelve calendar months after
payment of the Upfront Consideration;
▪ US$750,000 cash upon delineation of a JORC compliant Mineral Resource Estimate of at least 250,000
ounces at a minimum 1.2 g/t Au grade;
▪ US$1,000,000 cash upon delineation of a JORC compliant Mineral Resource Estimate of at least
500,000 ounces at a minimum 1.2 g/t Au grade; and
▪ a production royalty in favour of the Vendor equal to 2.0% of the net smelter return (“NSR”) on minerals
derived from Nielle, with 1% of the NSR able to be bought back by Castle via a cash payment of
US$3,000,000.
The issue of the Upfront Consideration shares is subject to shareholder approval.
Receipt of Complete Historical Exploration Dataset
On 23 June 2026, Castle announced that it had signed an agreement with the previous permit holders to obtain
the complete historical exploration dataset relating to Nielle. The dataset comprises exploration information
generated between 2015 and 2021 and includes 40 RC drill holes (4,420m), ~7,000m of air core drilling, 542
auger drill holes, geological mapping, geochemical sampling, technical studies, supporting exploration
databases and retained drill samples. Castle estimates that the historical work undertaken by previous
operators represents more than US$3 million in direct exploration expenditure.
The receipt of this comprehensive dataset will materially advance Castle’s understanding of the project and
provides a substantial head start in progressing exploration planning and drill target definition, significantly
reducing the time required to advance Nielle towards drill testing following grant of the exploration licence.
To assist immediately with the review and interpretation of the historical Nielle exploration data, Castle
appointed experienced geologist George Michaelides in the role of Exploration Manager. Mr Michaelides has
intimate knowledge of the Nielle concession, having previously been involved in the exploration activities
undertaken on the concession by prior operators, and has over 25 years’ experience in field exploration, more
than half of that in West Africa including Côte d’Ivoire, Mali and Senegal. He will work closely with the Castle
team in utilising the historical exploration data to assess exploration targets and formulate a maiden drilling
programme at Nielle.
Nielle Forward Work Plan
Castle is undertaking a detailed technical review of the historical exploration information with the objective of
defining and prioritising drill targets. Work programmes currently being assessed include:
▪ review and validation of historical drilling and geochemical datasets;
▪ geological and structural interpretation;
▪ drill target generation and ranking;
▪ metallurgical assessment utilising retained drill samples; and
▪ supplementary geochemical programmes where required.
Castle continues to work closely with Golden Arrow SARL regarding completion of the remaining conditions
precedent associated with grant of the Nielle permit. The Company’s primary objective at Nielle is to define a
gold resource and progress the project through the development pathway, with preparations underway for a
maiden drilling campaign as soon as the licence is granted.
CDI East Permits, Côte d’Ivoire – Ghana Border
Across the broader seven permit (~1,842km²) Côte d’Ivoire – Ghana border package, acquired through
Castle’s 100% acquisition of Mineralis Ltd (with the right to earn up to 90% in each permit), the Company
continued to advance permitting and tenure consolidation efforts during the quarter. The Ebony permit
(PR0965) has been granted, with six additional permits remaining under application.
A regional soil sampling programme commenced at the granted Ebony permit but was incomplete at end of
the reporting period. Work will recommence when access improves after the wet season which is likely to
conclude in late October. The Company advises that two of the remaining six CDI East permit applications are
well-advanced and formal granting is anticipated in the next quarter, subject to receiving a formal decree from
the Côte d'Ivoire government.
WESTERN AUSTRALIA PROJECTS
Meeka South Gold Project, Completion of Meekasan Acquisition
On 25 May 2026, Castle announced that it had completed the acquisition of 100% of the issued share capital
of Meekasan Pty Ltd in accordance with the terms of the Share Purchase Agreement (refer Castle ASX
announcements of 3 March 2026 and 25 May 2026).
The acquisition secures a significant package of exploration and prospecting tenements in the prolific
Meekatharra gold district, establishing a contiguous ~184km² strategic footprint through integration with the
Company’s Polelle (98km²) and Wanganui (18km²) projects (Figure 2). The Meekasan ground is immediately
adjacent to Westgold Resources’ Paddy’s Flat operation (historic production 1.5Moz+) and Great Boulder
Resources’ Mulga Bill project (568koz @ 2.7g/t Au), positioning Castle within an established high-grade gold
corridor.
Figure 2: Castle Minerals Meeka South tenement package in Western Australia
The Meekasan tenure complements Castle’s existing projects in the region and provides a number of priority
exploration targets identified through historical work and recent data compilation. The forward work plan
comprises a tenement wide soil geochemistry programme to fully characterise the geochemical signature and
mineralisation potential of the Meeka South Gold Project, systematic field checking of priority targets
identified from reprocessed magnetic datasets, with air core or RC drilling undertaken where field
observations support the geophysical interpretation, and a review of the historical drill data at Wanganui with
potential to accelerate an RC drill programme.
Polelle and Wanganui Gold Projects
Castle retains 100% ownership of the Polelle (98km²) and Wanganui (18km²) Gold Projects in the Meekatharra
goldfields, following the expiry of the earn-in option previously granted to Great Boulder Resources (ASX: GBR)
and the Company's election not to extend that option (refer Castle ASX announcement of 27 January 2026).
With completion of the Meekasan acquisition, both projects now form part of the consolidated ~184km²
Meeka South Gold Project.
During the quarter, the Company continued its internal technical review of the Polelle and Wanganui tenure
to prioritise near term, high impact exploration opportunities across the consolidated landholding. Wanganui
historical RC drilling has delivered shallow, high-grade intercepts including 3m @ 18.66g/t Au from 62m, 8m
@ 4.10g/t Au from 66m, and 10m @ 3.34g/t Au from 56m, demonstrating the mineralisation potential across
the Meeka South Gold Project (refer Castle ASX announcement of 19 August 2020). Heritage clearance
activities are currently underway at Wanganui to support potential drill testing of priority targets, subject to
final target selection and receipt of all necessary approvals.
GHANA PROJECTS
Proposed Divestment of Ghanaian Gold Assets
With the acquisition of the Nielle Gold Project and the continuedexpansion of its Côte d’Ivoireportfolio,Castle
is progressing a strategicrationalisation of its Ghanaian assets to streamline the Company’s exploration focus
and capital allocation priorities.
During the quarter, Castle entered into an indicative non-binding terms sheet with a privately held
international exploration company (“Purchaser”) for the proposed divestment of its wholly owned Ghanaian
subsidiary, Carlie Mining Limited, which holds Castle’s Ghanaian gold licences, including Baayiri (PL10/24),
Bulenga (PL10/23), Jewoyeli (RL10/52), Charingu (PL10/25), Degbiwu (PL10/26), Gbinyiri (RL8/27) and Kandia
(RL10/34), but excluding the 4% net smelter precious metals royalty over Azumah Resources Pty Ltd’s Julie
West licence.
Under the indicative terms, the Purchaser would acquire Carlie Mining for total consideration of US$400,000
(~A$555,000), comprising an upfront payment of US$200,000 upon execution of a binding Share Purchase
Agreement, with the balance payable three months thereafter. The Purchaser would also assume
responsibility for any outstanding annual mineral right fees. The proposed divestment remains subject to the
negotiation and execution of definitive transaction documentation and satisfaction of customary conditions
precedent. At quarter end, the Share Purchase Agreement was under review by the Purchaser with only a
minor number of conditions remaining to resolve. The Company believes that the terms of the agreement the
remaining conditions are capable of being satisfied and anticipate final sign off in the next quarter, although
there can be no certainty that a binding agreement will be executed or that the transaction will ultimately
complete.
If completed, the divestment would enable Castle to further streamline its portfolio and redirect capital and
management focus toward its expanding Côte d’Ivoire portfolio and the Meekatharra projects in Western
Australia.
Kambale Graphite Project
No work was undertaken at the 100% owned Kambale Graphite Project during the quarter. Castle continues
to look to monetise its interest, most likely through a partial or total sale or farm out arrangement.
CORPORATE
Proposed Name Change to TerraNova Metals Limited
Reflecting the Company’s evolution into a diversified gold and critical minerals explorer with a growing
footprint across Côte d’Ivoire and Western Australia, the Board announced during the quarter its intention to
seek shareholder approval to change the Company’s name to TerraNova Metals Limited.
The proposed rebrand aligns with the Company’s strategic direction following the expansion of its Côte
d’Ivoire portfolio, advancement of the Meekatharra projects, optimisation of the broader asset base and
ongoing corporate initiatives.
